David has a passion for working with individuals, teams and groups to bring about personal, professional and organizational change, growth and development. Coupled with his interest in and work with emotional intelligence, neuroscience, mindfulness and meditation practices, he has developed an eclectically strong foundation for his coaching and consulting work. At the core of David’s work is an approach that takes into account the uniqueness of every individual and their specific circumstances as well as the interconnectedness of everything within a system.
David started to focus solely on executive coaching and consulting following a 28-year career in the Federal Government during which time he had the opportunity to work with a diverse community which included Department of Defense officials of multiple Central Asian countries as well as U.S. company C-suite leadership on issues of cooperation, collaboration and change management. David now works with clients from the C-suite on down in the humanitarian and non-for-profit sectors, startups, entrepreneurs as well as private industry.
David holds a graduate degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University’s Teachers College and an Executive Coaching certification from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. David also has training in group dynamic and group psychotherapy and is a certified Qi Gong instructor.
