More Information for Women Looking to Get Back in the Work Force – New York Times

It is no surprise that women who have taken a multi-year career break encounter obstacles upon their return.  In order to lower the barriers to re-entry, many large banks recently launched structured, paid internship programs to attract this talent pool and create a fast track to potential full-time roles.

I have enjoyed working with JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley this fall to make their programs a success.  In both programs, I designed and delivered group coaching sessions to educate and empower the re-entry program participants, and help them make the most of this unique career opportunity.

There is a lot of excitement about these programs and the press is covering them!  I was interviewed at length by NY Times senior writer Jennifer Preston for my views on the topic of re-entry and for tips I could offer.
