Founded by Michelle Friedman in 2009, AWC is a boutique consulting and coaching firm dedicated to advancing women into greater leadership roles within demanding industries. We believe that building a strong pipeline of diverse talent requires a multi-faceted and systems-based approach, which includes individual action and organizational change.The progressive employers we work with recognize that without organizational commitment and a focus on workplace culture, diversity initiatives will be less impactful.

We work on various fronts, creating custom programs that support individual career development, team effectiveness and lasting organizational change. We have applied this approach with clients of varying sizes in diverse industries. In addition, we have a deep expertise in NYC financial services firms.
